Some people just love awards. We love them too, but we’d rather avoid having to drag out ill-fitting dinner suits to pick up a gong or two; but we’ve had to.
The Royal Television Society gave us a handful of awards.
The Educational Television & Media Association handed over three, including their Premiere Award, which came with a week-long trip to pre-Katrina New Orleans.
We got half a dozen others from the British Medical Association, and two from the European Commission, which we shared with a client; one was for Health and Safety Productions and one was for Corporation Citizenship.
And David managed to get onto the Best Seller List with a book written during four consecutive wet Sundays, so the return on effort was pretty good.
